Online Registration

To participate in the Action and to access the eTwinning tools, all you need to do is register online on the eTwinning platform: https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en

Only teachers and administrative staff of public and private schools from all levels and types of education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (pre-primary, primary, secondary general, technical and vocational and special education) are entitled to register on the platform.

Although students are not registered on the platform, they can actively participate in the Action and have access to specific tools if their teachers invite them with individual usernames and passwords.

Flexibility

eTwinning projects do not receive a grant, so there are no deadlines for teachers and their schools to register on the platform, nor are there any deadlines for submitting a project for approval.

There is also no limit to the number of projects a school or teacher can be involved in, nor is there a minimum or maximum duration of an eTwinning project. However, each teacher is not allowed to submit more than 4 projects per year for a National Quality Label.

Participating Countries

All Member States of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area countries Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, as well as EU candidate countries such as Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Albania, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine are participating in the Action. The following countries are also participating in eTwinning: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Armenia, Jordan, Kosovo, Jordan, Lebanon, Lebanon, Palestine and Tunisia.
