National Activities
Annual Conference on School Education
Every year the National Support Service (ESS) organises the Annual School Education Conference, which aims to inform teachers about the possibilities offered by the Action, and to educate them through the keynote speakers it hosts each year according to the theme of the Conference. It also showcases quality Cypriot eTwinning projects that have been awarded National and European Quality Labels.
District Workshops
In cooperation with the Cyprus eTwinning Ambassadors, EYS organises provincial workshops using computers. During the workshops, teachers can familiarise themselves with the tools of eTwinning and learn basic actions such as finding partners, submitting a project for approval, inviting students and partners to their project, etc. It also provides useful information and tips on how to improve the quality of projects.
At the beginning of the school year, the EYS announces specific dates for each district. Register online for the district you wish to participate in the link in the circular sent to your schools.
If you were unable to attend one of the Workshops, please contact the ambassador of your district. EYS will contact you as soon as the necessary number of people for the next Workshop in your province has been filled.
Online Seminars for Web 2.0 Tools
During the school year, the Cyprus eTwinning Ambassadors in collaboration with EYS organise webinars on “Using Web 2.0 tools in the development of collaborative activities“. Web 2.0 tools that can be used both in the daily learning process and as a supporting tool for collaborative projects are presented.
