eTwinning is expanding into Initial Teacher Education through the ITE (Initial Teacher Education) initiative, engaging future educators right from the very first stages of their professional careers.

eTwinning for future teachers provides opportunities for:

  • Teaching and learning using the project method and an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Developing linguistic, digital, and professional skills (project management, goal setting, planning, teamwork).
  • Opening up to Europe and internationalization, which promotes interculturalism.
  • Reflecting on professional practice, including exchanges with teachers from other educational systems.
  • A free collaborative environment for implementing collaborative projects during student training.
  • Utilizing it as a useful tool that can be used during your Department’s students’ teaching practice in a school classroom.
