The European Award was launched in 2022 with the aim of honoring the most active initial teacher education institutions in eTwinning. The award recognizes and promotes the work and activities completed by the institution in three main areas: curriculum integration, project implementation and research outputs.

To apply for the European ITE Award, you must be a university teacher/professor and you must be registered in eTwinning and validated by the NSO. You can request an application from the National Support Service at any time, which will explain what kind of information and evidence will be required.

All applications are evaluated at a national and European level, and if all criteria are met, the corresponding awards are granted. More details regarding the criteria and the evaluation process can be found here.
